Welcome to Kaleidoscope Keys!
Join us as we travel together on our musical adventure with Beethoven Bear and Mozart Mouse. Young children ages 4-6 begin their musical journey while participating in the Little Mozarts Pre-piano class. These classes help to give children the basic fundamentals that lay the foundation for future piano instruction. Children enrolled in pre-piano classes learn about pitch, rhythm, singing, listening, and music appreciation while playing a variety of games, participating in movement activities, and exporing percussion intruments.
Further along the journey 5-6 year old children enrolled in Music for Little Mozarts meet other famous composers including Clara Schumann-Cat, Haydn Hippo, and Pachelbel Penguin. Mozart & Beethoven introduce the piano to children in a fun and engaging manner. Children continue to explore in more depth the musical concepts presented in the pre-piano class while gaining an appreciation for different musical styles. Along the journey children are introduced to many classical composers.
After completion of Music for Little Mozarts children are ready to begin formal piano instruction. Kaleidoscope Keys continues to offer group lessons using the Piano Adventure Series series. Students continue to develop their repertoire of classical music as well as being introduced to other styles. Music theory is also an important component in the Faber method.
Kaleidoscope Keys offers private piano instruction to children who are at least 7 years old or in the second grade. The Faber Piano Adventure series is used for private students.
